The Opportunity
HR Surveyors is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our growing South Australian team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a growing national business.
For the right candidate, there is also a genuine pathway into a Survey Management position within 12 months.
Reporting to management, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services across a diverse range of engineering and construction projects throughout South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute daily survey tasks to meet project deadlines
Perform accurate survey calculations, drafting and reporting using industry-standard software
Undertake engineering set-out, as-built surveys and other construction surveying requirements
Liaise directly with clients to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
Collaborate with project managers, site teams and other surveyors to deliver productive, high-quality outcomes




Operate Trimble and/or Leica survey equipment to undertake precise fieldwork
Maintain a high standard of safety, accuracy and professionalism across all work
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Surveyor with strong industry experience and a genuine passion for your work.
You will ideally bring:
A minimum of 2–3 years of engineering or construction surveying experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center and/or 12D
Hands-on experience with Trimble and/or Leica survey equipment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and client liaison skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current Australian driver's licence
A relevant qualification in Surveying, or equivalent industry experience
