Youth Consultant – Hybrid - Part time Considered
Murray & South-East Region

As a
Youth Consultant
, you'll work with young people
aged ***** to build their skills, confidence and readiness for work.
You'll
develop strong relationships, understand individual goals and barriers, and
provide tailored support to help young people move towards employment, education
and greater independence.
This is a
hybrid position
, based in Murray Bridge,
working flexibly across the
Murray and South-East regions
, with a
combination of face-to-face and phone-based support.

This role requires a valid Working with Children Check
and a current Driver's Licence.
Duties
Support
young people to improve their job readiness, confidence and employability.
Build
positive relationships and engage young people through regular
appointments and ongoing support.
Provide
practical assistance with resumes, job applications, obtaining a driver's
licence and developing personal and employment skills.
Connect
young people with appropriate training, education, work experience and
employment opportunities.
Identify




and understand individual barriers and develop practical strategies to
maximise employment outcomes.
Maintain
an organised caseload and ensure accurate and timely records and
administration.
Build
relationships with local businesses and employers to identify work
experience, training and employment opportunities.
Work
collaboratively with colleagues, community organisations and local
services to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
Travelling
to Mount Gambier and the Riverland regions monthly.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who:
Has
excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrates
good time management and organisational skills.
Can
work independently and confidently as a self-starter while contributing to
a supportive team.
Is
adaptable, solutions-focused and comfortable working across different
locations and with diverse communities.
Can
contribute positively to a high-performance team culture.
Has
strong administration and record-keeping skills.
Holds
a current
Driver's Licence
.
Holds
or is willing to obtain a
Working with Children Check
.
