We want to hear from you.As a Cost Manager working within the Project Management team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in contributing to the financial control and success of major construction projects.
Supporting large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will analyze, develop, and manage budgets while helping project teams make sound financial and business decisions.This role will be based in Halifax, NS with occasional travel to projects in Moncton, NB and Sydney, NS.What you will doOrganize and supervise the cost control team on major projects, including task allocation and team developmentDevelop, monitor, and communicate cost control processes and procedures to operational teamsOversee operational dashboards and identify opportunities for budget optimizationEnsure the application of Major Project Management methods and recommend improvementsCollaborate closely with Construction, Procurement, and Contracts teamsDevelop strategic and operational dashboards aligned with business objectives and annual action plansPerform in-depth analysis of project performance (progress, entitlements, quantities, key ratios, etc.)Lead proactive cost management activities,
