Key Responsibilities
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of systems from construction to commissioning and final handover.
Reporting to the leadership team, you will drive alignment with contractual, legislative, and client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Shaping and executingcompletion and commissioning strategiesto ensure seamless system handovers.
Defining, monitoring, and managingsystem and subsystem completions.
Leadingconstruction completion,



mechanical completion,andpre-commissioning activities.
Performingwalkdowns, inspections,and verifying installation readiness.
Managing inspection reports, ITRs, completion checklists, and test documentation with precision.
Overseeing and resolvingpunch lists, defects, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)efficiently.
Supporting and supervisingcommissioning, functional testing, energisation,andstart-up activities.
Upholding the highest standards inHSE, quality, and permit-to-work compliance.
Preparing and deliveringhandover documentationwhile collaborating with stakeholders for seamless acceptance.
Working closely with construction teams, vendors, and commissioning authorities to achieve key milestones.
What You Bring to the RoleEssential Skills & Qualifications
ATertiary qualificationin Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrable expertise incompletions and commissioningon large-scale infrastructure, energy, resources, or industrial projects.
A strong understanding ofconstruction,testing, andcontrolled handovers.
Remarkable organizational skills, especially in handling complex project documentation.
Experience in fast-paced,site-based delivery environments.
A dedicated focus onsafety, quality, and process-driven execution.
Desirable Skills & Experience




Proficiency indigitalcompletions/commissioningsystemslike Hexagon Smart Completions or equivalents.
Proven track record inEPCorTier-1 contractor environments.
Experience in managinglive commissioning and handover phases.
ValidAustralian working rights(mandatory).
Day-to-Day Contributions
Partner with engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams to achieve project deliverables.
Conductinspections and walkdownsto ensure operational precision and compliance.
Maintain and manage allproject documentation, from ITRs to certification packages.
Efficiently address and resolve project defects, snags, and variances.
Support dynamiccommissioning and start-up operationswith a keen eye on safety and quality.
Prepare and deliver comprehensivehandover documentationto ensure smooth transitions to completion.
