JOB SUMMARY /n

The Christ Fellowship Kids Special Needs Ministry Coordinator supports the Kids Ministry with leadership and care for our kids with special needs. This is a part-time, salary (exempt) position scheduled for 20 hours per week, including weekends and some nights, and reports to the Christ Fellowship Kids Director.

JOB DUTIES /n

/n
Selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.

/n
Partnering with parents of kids with special needs.

/n
Partnering with Area Coordinators to build relationships with our special needs families.

/n
Partnering with Student Ministries to ensure kids and families transition well as they move up.

/n
Growing campus attendance by implementing our Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.

/n
Ensuring the overall weekend experience for kids is done with excellence in a secure, fun, meaningful, and engaging workplace.

/n




Assisting in the planning and execution of events and spiritual milestones.

/n
Supporting the supervision of midweek programming during the week as directed.

/n
Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.

/n
Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.

/n

EDUCATION /n

/n
College graduate, or degree in progress; a focus in special needs education is a plus.

/n
Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry workplace, either as staff or volunteer.

/n
