We are seeking an experienced HV Electrician with electric drive truck experience to join our client’s team in Mackay.

/n

This is primarily a workshop-based position, with approximately 75% of the role based in the Mackay workshop, with the successful candidate also providing field service coverage as required.

The Role /n

You will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding and electrical work associated with large electric drive mining equipment, predominantly within the Mackay workshop.

/n

When required, you will also provide field service support and coverage to the wider team.

/n

Experience with Komatsu 830E and 930E electric drive trucks is highly desirable, with experience on equivalent equipment such as Liebherr, CAT or Hitachi also considered.

What We're Looking For /n

HV Electrician or Cert III in Electrotechnology

/n
HV Switching – Statement of Attainment

/n
Appropriate licenses and tickets to perform high-risk work

/n
Demonstrated experience maintaining Komatsu 830E / 930E electric drive trucks or equivalent

/n
Experience with Liebherr, CAT, Hitachi or similar heavy mining equipment highly regarded

/n
Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 preferred

/n
Solid communication and customer service skills

/n
Ability to work effectively across both workshop and field service settings

/n
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
