We are seeking a new Assistant Store Manager for our Barossa Fine Foods Central Market store.

As the face of our brand, you will deliver high quality customer service through knowledge of our products and a warm and qualified approach. You will be involved in the preparation of products and replenishment of stock for sale, using knives and slicing machinery, while ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment is maintained.

Requirements Our ideal candidate will have the following experience n
n
People management responsibilities such as: Supervision of employees in store, including task allocation, training and monitoring of performance
n
Stock and special ordering
n
Opening and closing procedures
n
Strong customer service skills and passion to provide an exceptional shopping experience
n
Cash reconciliation and banking
n
Understanding of safety and quality assurance guidelines
n
To be successful in this role,



you will need: n
n
To be able to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster
n
The ability to work Sunday's on a rotating roster
n
Desire to learn and grow with the Company
n
Passion for high quality food products
n
To be a friendly, approachable, and positive team player
n
Excellent presentation skills
n
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
n
Basic competency in Microsoft Office suite of programs
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
n
Main responsibilities include: n
n
Assist with supervision and management of employees, including task delegation in Store Managers absence
n
Ensuring opening and closing procedures are being followed when required
n
Cash reconciliation and banking when required
n
Assist with stock ordering in Store Managers absence to meet customer demand and maintain display standards
n
Ensure all employees are meeting business and legislative WHS and Food Safety requirements including keeping accurate training records
n
Organising store maintenance when required
n
Help ensure sales, wages, gross profit and stock waste targets are achieved as much as possible
n
Dealing with customer complaints
n
Training new employees
n
Providing employees with ongoing feedback as required
n
Continuously adhere to Barossa Fine Foods Values, Objectives, Policies and Procedures
