Harrison McMillan is partnering with a respected accounting and advisory firm to recruit a Senior Accountant with strong taxation and SMSF experience.

The Opportunity /n

As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with clients, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services while supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to a team-oriented team culture.

Key responsibilities include:

/n

/n
Managing a portfolio of business clients across various industries

/n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS obligations

/n
Providing proactive taxation, business, and financial advice

/n
Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis

/n
Building and maintaining robust client relationships

/n
Mentoring and supporting junior accountants

/n
Identifying opportunities to add value and support client growth





/n

About You /n

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

/n

/n
CA or CPA qualification

/n
Minimum 5 years' experience within public practice accounting

/n
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards

/n
SMSF compliance and reporting experience

/n
Exposure to or experience in business valuations, business restructuring, family law matters, and estate planning/estate administration engagements

/n
Experience managing client relationships independently

/n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

/n
A proactive, commercial, and solutions-focused mindset

/n
