Job Description
Must Have Skills:
5+ years of experience inDNS operations/support, with at least2–3 years at L3 level
Strong hands‐on experience withBIND (open‐source DNS)
Deep understanding of:
· DNS protocol internals
· Authoritative vs Recursive DNS
· TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow
StrongLinux/Unix system administrationexperience
Robust networking fundamentals:
· TCP/IP, UDP
· Latency and routing behavior
Nice to Have Skills:
 Experience withAnycast DNS deployments
 Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS
 Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)
 Monitoring tools:
Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix
 ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management experience)
