Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team within the social care sector in Perth, Western Australia. This Full-Time, permanent role is essential for ensuring efficient scheduling and rostering of staff, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our services. The ideal candidate will possess solid organisational skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of care provided to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the scheduling and rostering of staff to ensure adequate and compliant coverage for client needs.
n
Maintain accurate records of staff availability, leave requests, and shift changes.
n
Communicate effectively with staff regarding their schedules and any changes.
n
Support the management team in the development and implementation of rostering policies.
n
Utilise scheduling software to optimise staff allocation and minimise gaps in service delivery, adhering to workforce planning strategies.
n




Prepare reports on staffing levels and assist in identifying trends or issues.
n
Provide administrative support to the Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team as required.
n
Proficient and knowledgable experience in the use of ShiftCare
n

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative role, with demonstrated experience within the social care sector.
n
Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
n
Experience with workforce rostering systems specific to the social care or healthcare sector.
n
Understanding of relevant industrial awards and employment agreements for staff scheduling.
