About the Role
n
As a
Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout
, you will:
n
n
Deliver safe, evidence‐based perioperative nursing care
n
Provide high‐quality scrub and scout support across a range of specialties
n
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams
n
Ensure patient and staff safety at all times
n
Proactively evaluate and improve perioperative care outcomes
n
Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation
n
Contribute to a positive patient experience from admission through recovery
n
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Current
AHPRA registration
as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum
3 years' experience
in a perioperative setting
n
Scrub/Scout experience (Neurosurgery or Orthopaedics highly regarded)
n
Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
n
Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient‐centred care
n
Strong communication, time management and organisational skills
n




Ability to work both independently and as part of a high‐performing team
n
Excellent problem‐solving and computer skills
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
n

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement ****, a salary ranging from $***** - $***** per hour.
