The opportunity
n
Collarcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join a well-established residential aged care provider in the Coffs Harbour region.
n
This permanent leadership position is ideal for an experienced Clinical Manager, Care Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator or senior Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in their career.
n
Working closely with the Facility Manager, you will lead the home's clinical operations and support the nursing and care teams to deliver safe, compliant and genuinely person-centred care. You will play an important role in maintaining strong clinical governance, developing staff capability and supporting the home's ongoing readiness for accreditation.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and care staff
n
Oversee clinical governance, documentation and care-planning processes
n
Monitor resident outcomes, clinical indicators and identified risks
n
Support compliance with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
n
Lead incident management, investigations and corrective actions
n
Coordinate clinical audits and continuous-improvement initiatives
n
Support medication management,



infection prevention and wound-care practices
n
Coach, mentor and develop members of the clinical team
n
Work collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
n
Assist with workforce planning and the maintenance of appropriate clinical coverage
n
n
About you
n
To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Previous clinical leadership experience within residential aged care
n
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and the Aged Care Quality Standards
n
Experience managing incidents, complaints, clinical risks and continuous improvement
n
Sound understanding of AN-ACC and residential aged care documentation
n
Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
n
The ability to guide and develop a multidisciplinary care team
n
Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Evidence of required vaccinations and aged care compliance documentation
n
