Swick Mining Services, who is part of the global Perenti Group, is Australia's largest Underground Diamond Drilling Contractor with the most innovative and reliable rigs in the industry operating Australia-wide as well as internationally.

We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join our Maintenance team on a Permanent, Full-time basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
The Role n
Duties are (but not limited to) the following:
n
n
Carry out servicing, trouble shooting and fault finding in the Swick field-based workshops;
n
Ensuring statutory servicing and testing is completed, service literature is recorded and forwarded for storing;
n
Set your own priorities based on discussions in pre-shift meetings with both operations and other maintenance team members
n
Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off by relevant parties;
n
Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock;
n
Daily work order and time sheet completion and submission.
n
Closing out faults in Swick's live Fault register
n




The Candidate n
The successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:
n
n
Current manual C Class Driver License or higher
n
Recent National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
n
Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team setting
n
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
n
Attention to detail and time management
n
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role working with a fleet of light vehicles including Landcruiser, Hilux, Ranger, HiAce buses and Isuzu 4x4.
