About the Role n
As a CNC Machinist, you'll play an important role in manufacturing high-quality precision components while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, accuracy, and safety.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Program, set up, operate, and maintain Haas CNC milling and lathe machines
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
n
Select appropriate tooling and machining methods
n
Produce components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
n
Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy
n
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
n
Safely operate multiple machines while maintaining productivity
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
n
About You n
You're a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working in a quick-paced engineering environment.
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Australian-recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Engineering or equivalent)
n
Minimum 4 years' experience operating Haas CNC machines
n
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Sound understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
n
Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and teamwork
n
