Experienced Newborn Nannies | Brisbane and Gold Coast

We are currently inviting applications from compassionate, experienced, and confident
nannies with newborn experience
to support our wonderful clients.

If you are known for being a 'baby whisperer' – someone who understands the delicate needs of infants and can provide both nurturing care and structured developmental support during the early months, especially around sleep management – we encourage you to apply.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for the full care of a newborn (0–6 months), ensuring a secure, calm, and developmentally supportive environment whilst parents are at home/work. The roles can be offered on a casual and permanent basis.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Newborn Care & Daily Support
n
n
Responsive feeding support
n
Managing and tracking feeding and sleep schedules
n
Confident with contact napping and supporting healthy sleep foundations
n
Safe settling techniques (swaddling, rocking, soothing methods)
n
Diapering, bathing, and general hygiene care
n
Monitoring baby's wellbeing and developmental milestones
n
n
Developmental & Emotional Support
n
n
Engaging in age-appropriate sensory play (tummy time, visual tracking, gentle music)
n
Supporting early motor skill development
n




Encouraging cognitive and language exposure through reading and talking
n
Creating a calm, secure attachment-based environment
n
Understanding newborn cues and responding appropriately
n
n
Household Duties (Baby-Related)
n
n
Washing and sterilising bottles/pump parts
n
Baby laundry and organising nursery space
n
Maintaining cleanliness of baby areas
n
Restocking baby essentials and communicating supply needs
n
n
Parent Collaboration
n
n
Working closely with parents to follow their preferred routines
n
Providing daily updates on feeds, naps, and developmental observations
n
Supporting postpartum parents with reassurance and practical help when needed
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Up-to-date resume with newborn experience and references
n
Current Working With Children Check / Blue Card
n
Valid Police Check
n
First Aid & CPR certification (including baby CPR)
n
Relevant childcare and sleep qualifications (highly regarded)
n
n
