Bus Driver Opportunities – Cairns Depot

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated drivers to join our Cairns Depot team, operating long-distance, regional, and school services across Far North Queensland.

Positions Available

Cairns to Karumba Service
n
n
Long-distance route
n
Overnight stays in Karumba required
n
12-hour shifts
n
n
Cairns to Cooktown Service
n
n
Scenic coastal and regional driving
n
Flexible opportunities available

Atherton to Cairns Service
n
n
Regular regional route
n
Daily return services
n
Opportunity for consistent rostered hours

Cairns Special Education School Service – Drivers and Carers
n

School transport operations -- Working with students requiring additional support

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and freight while delivering a high standard of customer service across our regional and school transport network.
n
Requirements
n
n
Current QLD Driver's Authority, or willingness to obtain
n
Appropriate licence (MR/HR preferred)
n
Strong communication skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage long-distance routes
n
Commitment to safety and reliability
n
Ability to work respectfully with school students and passengers from diverse backgrounds
n
