Western District Health Service is seeking a passionate and commercially minded Finance Business Partner – Aged Care to support the financial performance, sustainability and strategic direction of our growing aged care portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for meaningful work with flexibility.

Working closely with the Executive Director Aged Care, operational leaders and the Finance Team, you'll provide expert financial management, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting and strategic advice across Residential Aged Care, Support at Home, Transition Care Program and Commonwealth Home Support Program services.

What You'll Be Doing Financial Management Sustainability Manage budgets,



monitor financial performance and provide strategic financial advice that supports the long-term sustainability of aged care services.
Financial Reporting Analysis Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance analysis, performance insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Budgeting Forecasting Develop and maintain accurate budgets, forecasts and cash flow models that support operational planning and financial stability.
Business Partnering Partner with executive and operational leaders to provide meaningful financial advice, identify opportunities and improve service performance.
Aged Care Finance Oversight Support the day-to-day financial management of Residential Aged Care, Support at Home, Transition Care Program and Commonwealth Home Support Program services.
Funding, Compliance Governance Support funding submissions, grant acquittals, regulatory reporting and audit activities, ensuring compliance with relevant aged care funding and legislative requirements.
What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline Demonstrated experience in a finance role within a regulated environment Robust management accounting, budgeting and forecasting capability Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills Experience preparing and interpreting financial reports Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge Ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insights Current Driver's Licence Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Rights to work in Australia Why Join Western District Health Service?
