Depot Supervisor PM | Transport Logistics Location: Hazelmere, WA Roster: Monday to Friday Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm + expected overtime Employment Type: Full-time Category 5 Labour Management is seeking an experienced Depot Supervisor to join a leading transport and logistics operation based in Hazelmere.
This is a hands-on afternoon shift leadership role overseeing busy yard operations, coordinating the workforce and ensuring freight movements are completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational and customer requirements.
We are looking for an experienced transport or logistics supervisor who can lead from the front, keep operations moving and maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and team performance.
About the Role You will be responsible for: Supervise day-to-day PM shift yard operations to ensure secure and efficient freight movement Lead, coach and support yard staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment Ensure trailers are loaded safely and are compliant to legislation and customer requirements, including accuracy of consignment notes.
Ensure all loading activities comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint and fatigue management requirements Coordinate rostering and workforce allocation to maintain operational coverage Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching and support Identify and implement process improvements to optimise efficiency and productivity Liaise with internal teams, drivers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory standards Promote and uphold a strong safety culture,



including participation in incident management and corrective actions What We're Looking For To be successful, you will have: Previous supervisory experience within transport, freight or logistics Strong knowledge of freight handling, scanning and manifesting processes Current LF Forklift Licence Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management Strong load restraint knowledge , with certification highly regarded Experience managing operational teams, rostering and workforce requirements Ability to interpret and work within Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Good problem-solving and decision-making ability Experience using transport management systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm , with overtime as required Why Join Category 5?
