About the role: Reporting to the Store Manager, you will take ownership of the grocery department and lead its day-to-day performance.
You will manage the team, stock flow, ordering, merchandising and department standards while maintaining strong product availability and controlling wages and stock loss.
You will also support promotional activity and contribute to the overall performance of the store.
Skills Experience: Proven supermarket management experience Previous grocery or fresh produce experience Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills Experience with ordering, stock control and replenishment Sound understanding of sales,
