About the role: An excellent opportunity has become available for a Team Leader - Operational Technology Control Systems.
This position leads the OT Control Systems Team, providing engineering, operational, and project support across Midstream and Energy Solutions (M ES) assets.
You will provide leadership and technical oversight of Operational Technology (OT), control systems, and telecommunications infrastructure — ensuring systems are safe, secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key accountabilities include: Driving continuous improvement across cyber security, system availability, projects, service supplier management, and strategy Providing technical oversight of telecommunications infrastructure including CCTV, radio, PAGA, satellite, microwave, and other critical communications systems Overseeing control systems (Emerson, Honeywell, and other applicable vendors) to ensure optimal performance and reliability Maintaining a explicit view of asset health, obsolescence, vulnerabilities, and lifecycle risks, ensuring timely upgrades, patching,



and hardware refresh programmes Ensuring compliance with enterprise cyber security requirements and Australian critical infrastructure obligations including AESCSF, SOCI Act, and internal OT cyber security standards Supporting hardening, logging, network segmentation, and secure remote access initiatives Managing relationships with key engineering suppliers and vendors, including contract management for control systems, telecoms, and OT infrastructure Defining roadmap activities, operational workplans, and capital upgrades while supporting budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimisation Providing strategic guidance to senior leaders on risks, opportunities, and long-term infrastructure direction Fostering a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and accountability within technical teams About You: The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in: Engineering degree qualified extensive prior operational experience Proven experience working in OT, telecommunications, and control systems environments Demonstrated operational leadership capability, with the ability to guide engineers, contractors, and service providers Experience in vendor/supplier contract management and commercial oversight Strong understanding of OT cyber security frameworks (AESCSF, SOCI Act) and critical infrastructure compliance obligations Familiarity with control systems (Emerson, Honeywell) and telecoms infrastructure (CCTV, radio, PAGA, satellite, microwave) Competence in governance, assurance,
