You will run the skid steer with the profiler and sweeper attachments, clearing milled material and tidying edges so the surfacing crew can lay a clean job.

What you will be doing Operate the skid steer, or bobcat, with profiler and sweeper attachments on road profiling works Clear milled material and clean up edges so the pavement is left ready for surfacing Work alongside the profiler operator and the rest of the crew under traffic management on live roads Carry out daily maintenance on the machine and attachments, and complete your pre-starts and job sheets Move plant and equipment between the depot and site What you will need Current manual driver's licence, free of conditions Skid steer or bobcat competence, ideally with profiler and sweeper attachments Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.




We cover the cost Availability to rotate between day and night shift Useful, but not essential Time steering a profiler, asphalt or road maintenance crew experience, or additional plant tickets and Truck licence.
What you can expect Paid travel time on every shift, one hour up to 60km and two hours from 60 to 120km Night shift paid at a higher hourly rate for the whole shift, not as a top-up Overtime paid at a premium rate, with a minimum of four hours on Saturdays and Sundays, and double time and a half on public holidays Up to 26 RDOs a year, with anything over seven days cashed out each December Overnight accommodation and a nightly allowance when work takes you more than 100km from home Company-funded training through accredited providers Five classification levels from Trainee to Supervisor, with progression assessed on what you can actually do rather than years served Rates reviewed annually against Brisbane CPI, market rates and business performance When you join BildGroup, you're not just part of a workforce.
