About The role The position offers a genuine senior, individual-contributor procurement role with real category ownership and autonomy.
You will take on complex, high-value categories spanning both technology and marketing-related spend, including media, brand, creative and agency-related categories, and will be trusted to run with these independently.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in easing pressure on category leadership by taking genuine ownership of your portfolio, rather than needing close oversight.
Key responsibilities include: Leading complex, high-value market engagements end-to-end, from strategy through to negotiation and contract execution Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across marketing, technology and other business functions Independently managing significant sourcing projects, including platform selection processes,



agency engagements and broader category initiatives as they arise Proactively identifying opportunities to challenge existing arrangements and deliver stronger commercial outcomes Leading contract negotiation and risk management across your category areas, with the maturity to operate with limited oversight Supporting the development of procurement capability and category strategy more broadly across the team About You Significant end-to-end sourcing experience, with genuine category ownership in either technology or marketing-related procurement, and the flexibility to work across both Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence and build trust at senior levels The ability to independently manage complex categories and projects with minimal oversight Strong commercial negotiation capability and sound contractual judgement A collaborative mindset, comfortable moving between categories and adapting to shifting business priorities Enough maturity and confidence to operate autonomously while keeping stakeholders well informed This is a genuine senior opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take real ownership of a broad, evolving category base and make a meaningful impact within a well-established, values-driven organisation.
