About the Role We're looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Aurion Consultant to join our team on a fully remote, 6-month contract basis.
You'll bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, supporting configuration, customization, architecture integration, and troubleshooting across the Aurion HR/payroll platform.
Key Responsibilities Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications within Aurion Configure and maintain Aurion modules (HR, payroll, leave, self-service, etc.) to meet organizational needs Design, build, and support integrations between Aurion and other systems (e.g., finance, rostering, time attendance) Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with end users and IT teams Support payroll processing cycles and ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and business rules Develop and maintain custom reports, workflows, and business rules within Aurion Assist with testing (unit, system, UAT) for upgrades, patches, and change requests Document configurations, processes,



and technical solutions Provide training and support to end users as needed Skills Experience Experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on Aurion platform expertise Strong understanding of payroll, HR processes, and Australian employment legislation (or relevant regional equivalent) Experience configuring business rules, workflows, and reports within Aurion Solid grasp of system integrations (APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Excellent stakeholder communication skills, comfortable liaising with both technical and non-technical teams Experience working in a remote/distributed team environment Nice to Have Prior experience with Aurion upgrades or implementations Scripting experience for custom reporting What We Offer Fully remote flexibility Competitive contract rate Opportunity to work on a high-impact, hands-on Aurion engagement If you're looking for a fully remote contract role with a high-impact project and strong extension potential, this could be a great chance.
