We are currently working with a Council in Central West Queensland who are seeking an experienced Works Supervisor to join their team on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months.
The position will suit someone with a solid background in civil construction, with experience in flood repair works highly regarded.
An hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience.
Travel expenses will be covered at the beginning and end of the assignment, and self-contained accommodation will be provided for the full duration of the assignment.
Requirements: Proven experience in civil construction, including the supervision of crews, programming, scheduling and cost control.
Previous experience working within Local Government will be well regarded.
Experience in flood repair or recovery works will be well regarded.




Sound knowledge of TMR Specifications.
Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements relevant to the position, including work health and safety and risk management.
Computer literate.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance, or equivalent, will be well regarded.
General Construction Safety Card.
Minimum C class driver's licence.
Ability to commence mid to late September.
