About the company/role:
n Our client is a food ingredient manufacturer supplying B2B. They are seeking an experienced senior level quality candidate to step into a Quality Manager role for a 6-month period. This is a full-time, day shift role based in Western Sydney. The role will have 3 direct reports and will report directly to the Site Leader.
n
Duties:
n
n
Manage site operations and provide daily support from a quality perspective
n
Lead customer complaint management and implement corrective actions
n
Provide leadership and direction to the quality team members
n
Oversee daily QMS activities – compliance with standards and polices
n
Manage quality administrative duties related to reporting, auditing, documentation
n
n
Skills/experience:
n
n
Previous experience working in a senior level quality role in the food industry
n
Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
n
Previous people management experience is highly advantageous
n
Excellent communication skills
n
Proven self-starter who enjoys a hands-on role
n
n
