An established manufacturing operation in NSW is looking for a Maintenance Fitter with genuine hands-on mechanical maintenance experience and the qualifications to match.This opportunity is designed for candidates who can demonstrate their trade background, Australian maintenance experience and ability to work safely in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities 14 Items
Maintaining mechanical production equipment
Investigating equipment faults and completing mechanical repairs
Carrying out preventative maintenance programs
Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment operation
Maintaining conveyor systems and mechanical components
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Inspecting machinery for wear, damage and potential failures
Completing maintenance work through CMMS
Recording completed maintenance and repair activities
Coordinating with production personnel during maintenance work
Supporting engineering and maintenance improvement activities




Maintaining compliance with workplace safety requirements
Ensuring equipment is maintained to a protected operating standard
Supporting smooth and continuous production operations
Requirements & Eligibility 13 Criteria
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade is essential
At least 1 year of Australian maintenance experience is essential
Demonstrated industrial mechanical maintenance experienceManufacturing or FMCG experience is highly regarded
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to identify and resolve equipment faults
Understanding of preventative maintenance practices
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
Reliable and professional work history
Ability to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and experience
Currently residing in Australia
Willingness to relocate within NSW
