Position: Digital Project Manager

nPurpose of the role:n
nAs a Senior PM you are a leader and manager of extended virtual teamsn
nleading, mentoring and coaching other Project Managers to be successfuln
nleading, mentoring and coaching agency hire / term Project Managers to work effectively in Sydney Watern
nensure PM's under your leadership deliver effectively and efficiently to our corporate standardsn
nset an example driving our target state cultural culture (Blue Bus & Signature Behaviours)n
nyou build solid high performing teams of up to 30+ people to deliver large projects and programsn
nyou ensure all team members are crystal clear on their roles and responsibilities in the team; from subject matter experts, business analysts, architects, developers, vendors, testers, change managers to project board members etc. each must understand the role they play in each projectn
nyou oversee several projects in parallel touching many stakeholdersn
nManage all your projects large and smalln
nto deliver quality, fit for purpose solutions, that provide real business benefits to the organizationn
npreparation of business cases attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner; ensuring the business case stacks upn
nmanagement of project financials (budgets and forecasting)n
neffective planning and integration into the broader Digital portfolio of workn
ndelivery to benefits, scope, quality, schedule and budgetn
neffective management of team resources, including vendor resourcesn




neffective management of communication and stakeholder relationshipsn
neffective management of issues and risksn
ncompliance to project methodology (Prince2) including adoption appropriate delivery methodologiesn
ndelivery of simple, usable solutions to all stakeholdersn
nbuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders and vendorsn
nmanage stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder management disciplinen
nExperience required:n
nExtensive experience with Core Asset and Works Management Platforms, specifically Maximon
nIdeally we are looking for someone with experience in an upgrade from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.X, Business case writing experiencen
nAccountabilities and deliverables:n
nDay to day techncial accountabilities include having a comprehensive knowledge of the following processes. More importantly the Senior PM must be leading, mentoring and supporting other Project Managers in the effective application of these processes includingn
no Sydney Water's implementation of Prince 2,n
no Digital Delivery Platform (DDP)n
no all other business process supporting project, program and portfolio management including those around month and year end.n
nThe continuous longest task a PM may perform could be a projects that run for years. The PM will break this down into stages, workstreams and activities to ensure progress can be effectively meaured, monitored reported to a project board on a monthly basis.n
