About the Role
n
As a Travel Surgical Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality perioperative and post-operative nursing care across regional NSW hospitals. You'll support patients throughout the surgical journey, manage post-op recovery, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in surgical and mixed medical-surgical wards.

Key responsibilities:
n

Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
n
Monitor and manage post-surgical patients, including pain management
n
Perform wound care, drains,



and post-operative assessments
n
Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
n
Recognise and escalate deteriorating patients using clinical pathways
n
Maintain accurate documentation in line with NSW Health policies
n

What you'll need

Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse – Division 1)
n
Minimum 1 years' recent Surgical or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
n
Strong post-operative assessment and clinical decision-making skills
n
Current working rights in Australia
(urgent, non-sponsorship role)
