Danlaid CFS - A specialist provider of concrete preparation and protection services across Australia, delivering waterproofing, flooring systems, concrete remediation and protective coating solutions for commercial and civil infrastructure projects.
n
As a Plasterer at Danlaid CFS, you will prepare, repair and finish plaster, cement and render surfaces supporting high-quality protective, waterproofing and flooring systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, practical trade skills and a commitment to safe, accurate workmanship.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
n
n
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project requirements to determine plastering, rendering and surface preparation work for commercial and civil projects.
n
Measure, mark and prepare work areas and materials, including cutting and positioning plasterboard or related lining materials where required.
n
Prepare concrete, masonry and existing surfaces by cleaning, removing deteriorated material, patching defects and applying suitable bonding or preparation treatments.
n
Mix and apply plaster, cement, render and similar materials to structures, levelling and smoothing coats to the required uniform thickness and finish.
n
Straighten and finish corners,



angles, walls and other substrates to achieve accurate surfaces suitable for waterproofing, coatings or flooring systems.

Install and finish corner beads, trims, joints and related plaster fittings where required, ensuring clean alignment and durable edges.
n
Repair cracked or damaged plaster and cement-based surfaces as part of concrete remediation and refurbishment works.
n
Apply specialist plaster-based finishes and complete works to project specifications, manufacturer requirements, WHS procedures and Danlaid CFS quality standards.
n
Coordinate with supervisors and other trades, maintain clean work areas, use tools safely and complete assigned works within project timeframes.

Qualifications and Skills:
n
n
Relevant qualification.
n
Minimum 1 year experience as a Plasterer
n
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and technical requirements.
n
Strong knowledge of plastering, rendering, surface preparation and finishing techniques.
n
High attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
n
Ability to work safely and effectively independently and as part of a project team.
n

Salary:
n
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
