Our long-term client is a leading hyperscale data center construction organisation, delivering large-scale mission-critical digital infrastructure across multiple geographies. They seek an experienced
Project and Senior Project Managers
to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data center development in Australia. The role requires proven construction delivery experience on large-scale mission-critical infrastructure, with direct involvement in the build of hyperscale data center projects.

Candidates must have previously worked for a construction company and have hands-on project delivery experience on a hyperscale data center development, either in Australia or internationally.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Lead project delivery across hyperscale data center construction workstreams.
n
Manage construction programmes, milestones, risks, dependencies, and site progress.
n
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and client representatives.
n
Drive project execution across civil, structural, MEP, and fit-out interfaces.
n
Ensure works are delivered safely, commercially, and to specification.
n
Monitor cost, quality, schedule, procurement, and change control requirements.
n




Support reporting, stakeholder updates, governance meetings, and escalation management.
n
Identify delivery risks early and implement practical recovery actions.
n
Ensure compliance with project standards, construction codes, and client expectations.
n
Maintain strong site discipline, documentation control, and contractor accountability.
n
Support commissioning, handover, defects management, and operational readiness activities.
n
Qualifications & Experience n
n
Must have worked previously for a construction company.
n
Must have delivered hyperscale data center construction projects.
n
Strong understanding of mission-critical construction environments and delivery standards.
n
Demonstrated experience managing large contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
n
Robust knowledge of programme management, cost control, risk, and reporting.
n
Experience across MEP, electrical, cooling, power, and technical infrastructure preferred.
n
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure construction environments.
n
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capability.
n
Relevant degree or trade background in construction, engineering, or project management preferred.
n
Australian project experience is advantageous but not essential.
