An established and highly regarded construction company is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to join its Melbourne team. This is a senior-level opportunity to take full ownership of the delivery of major Class 2 high-rise residential apartment projects in Melbourne. The Role n
You will take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, leading the project team from pre-construction and procurement through to construction, practical completion and handover.

You will work closely with senior leadership while managing clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Lead the delivery of major Class 2 high-rise residential apartment projects.
n
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
n
Take ownership of project, budget, cost control and financial performance.
n
Lead procurement and manage major subcontractor packages.
n
Administer contracts, variations, EOTs, claims and commercial matters.
n
Coordinate architects,



engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
n
Manage design development, RFIs, technical issues and design changes.
n
Monitor project delivery, quality, safety and project milestones.
n
Identify and proactively manage project risks.
n
Lead project meetings and provide explicit reporting to senior management.
n
Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and Victorian construction requirements.
n
Drive strong WHS and quality outcomes.
n
Lead a group of Project Engineers, Contract Administrators, Site Managers and the wider project team.
n
Manage commissioning, defects, practical completion and final handover.
n
About You n
We are looking for a proven construction professional with:

A strong track record managing complex and high-value projects.
n
Excellent commercial and financial management skills.
n
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and subcontractor management.
n
Comprehensive understanding of construction methodology and buildability.
n
Strong knowledge of NCC and Victorian construction requirements.
n
Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
n
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
n
