Blue Shield Family General Practice – Kogarah NSW

Blue Shield Family General Practice is seeking a professional, reliable and motivated Registered Nurse / Practice Nurse to join our friendly, established two-doctor general practice in Kogarah. This is a part time position with a minimum of 18 hours per week, suitable for an RN who enjoys general practice nursing and working as part of a small, supportive team.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Immunisations and vaccine administration
n
Wound care and dressings
n
Chronic disease management and care-plan support
n
Health assessments
n
Patient observations and clinical triage
n
ECGs, spirometry and other routine clinical procedures
n
Assisting doctors with minor procedures
n
Recall and reminder management
n
Vaccine inventory and cold-chain management
n
Maintaining the resuscitation trolley and emergency equipment
n
n
About you
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n




High attention to detail and accurate documentation
n
Ability to prioritise clinical responsibilities and work independently within scope of practice
n
A reliable, professional and team-focused approach
n
Good computer skills and ability to work with general practice software
n
Previous general practice nursing experience, immunisation qualifications and familiarity with primary care systems are highly regarded
n
