Job Description Finance Analyst (12 month contract)Canberra Fulltime (Hybrid)Exposure to a high-profile client and finance operationsStrong mix of reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagementCollaborative team with opportunities for growthAbout the RoleWe're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to support reconciliations, reporting, analysis and financial operations across a key client account.This hands-on role will see you working closely with operational and finance teams to deliver and support accurate reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure financial controls are met.
You'll play a key role in month-end processes, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly reporting including journals, analysis, and commentaryPrepare balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, provisions, accruals)Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecastsConduct financial analysis including variance and trend reviewsPartner with operational teams to ensure financial deliverables are metRespond to stakeholder and supplier queries in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with financial controls and audit requirementsAssist with process improvements and ad hoc finance projectsDevelop and maintain financial reporting documentation.About YouMust be an Australian Citizen; and be eligible and willing to obtain NV1 security clearanceExperience in finance,
