Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, HS2, in the Buckinghamshire area.This is an excellent prospect to secure a long-term role on a major civils project, working alongside a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering complex earthworks, structures and infrastructure packages.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurate setting out using GPS and total station equipmentProducing and maintaining as-built recordsPreparing, reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and quality standardsLeading and driving Quality Assurance (QA) processes on siteCompleting inspections,



quality records and associated documentationLiaising with site teams, subcontractors and managementSupporting the delivery team with technical queries and engineering solutionsEssential RequirementsProven experience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projectsStrong setting out experienceExtensive knowledge of ITPs, QA and quality management proceduresExperience working with drawings, specifications and technical documentationCSCS CardFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the UK
