It simply allows us to better understand your background and contact you when an prospect arises that may align with your experience, availability, location, and clinical capabilities.What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking compassionate, reliable, and clinically capable Registered Nurses who are interested in providing high-quality nursing support to people living with disability.We are particularly interested in nurses with experience in community nursing, disability, complex care, chronic health conditions, mental health, rehabilitation, aged care, hospital or other relevant clinical settings.Experience with any of the following may be particularly relevant to future opportunities:
Bowel care and continence management
Catheter care
Wound care and pressure injury prevention/management
Medication management and clinical monitoring
Enteral feeding/PEG-related care, where appropriately qualified
Seizure-related care
Respiratory support
Complex disability-related health needs
Chronic health conditions
Post-hospital or transition-to-home support




Health assessments and clinical observations
Development and review of nursing care plans
Collaboration with support workers, families and allied health professionals
Providing education, guidance or training to support workers within your scope of practice
You do not need experience in every area listed above.
We are interested in understanding your individual clinical background and the areas in which you are competent and confident to practise.Responsibilities of Future Nursing OpportunitiesDepending on the participant's individual needs, your scope of practice and the specific engagement, responsibilities may include:
Provide safe, respectful and person-centred nursing care in participants' homes and community settings.
Support participants to maintain their health, wellbeing, dignity, independence and quality of life.
Complete clinical assessments, observations and nursing interventions within your scope of practice.
Provide nursing care appropriate to the participant's documented needs, care plans and clinical requirements.
Support participants with complex or disability-related health needs.
Provide appropriate education, guidance and clinical support to participants, families and support workers.
Work collaboratively with Support Coordinators, allied health professionals, medical practitioners, families and other members of the participant's support team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes and relevant records.
Identify and appropriately escalate changes in a participant's health or clinical presentation.
Follow relevant clinical procedures, policies, professional standards and participant-specific care plans.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality and privacy.
Apply a person-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach to nursing care.
Respect each participant's identity, communication style, culture, preferences and individual choices.
Applicants Should Have
Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with AHPRA, where applicable to the role.
Relevant nursing qualifications and clinical experience.
Experience in disability, community nursing, complex care, aged care, hospital, rehabilitation, mental health or another relevant clinical environment.
Solid clinical assessment, documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader support team.




Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, where required.
Working with Children Check (WWCC), where required for the relevant participant/service.
Current First Aid and CPR certification, where required.
Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle where the specific nursing opportunity requires travel between participant locations.
Strong understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, dignity and person-centred care.
Commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion, gender diversity and culturally safe practice.
About NDIS and Other Compliance RequirementsThe relevant NDIS and safeguarding requirements are mandatory where applicable to the role and participant.
