and learning opportunities that support your ongoing development.About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will:Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standardsAssess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care outcomesSupport, supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patientsProvide education and support to patients and their families throughout their care journeyPromote a culture of safety and continuous improvement for both patients and staffAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseRecent Emergency Department nursing experienceStrong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused careUnderstanding of ACQSHC National StandardsCurrent Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)Desirable:Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care NursingWhy Healthscope?
