As the Senior Data and BI Analyst, you'll support the delivery of reports, integrations and data solutions, solving new challenges and driving improvements across the business.You'll be based in Silverwater, supporting data and BI across Adbri nationally.
With a high degree of autonomy, you'll work directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, shape requirements and deliver practical solutions across a mix of BAU support and project work.
From new development and problem-solving through to ongoing enhancements, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership and make a tangible impact.Work across Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, MS Fabric, REST APIs and Azure, supporting reporting across operations, production, HR, sustainability and more.What You'll Be Doing:Working as part of Adbri's Business Systems team, your role will include:Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reportsSupporting users with reporting queries, investigations, and data issuesMaintaining and enhancing Databricks pipelines and integrationsWorking with large and complex datasets from multiple business systemsAssisting with onboarding and integration of current data sources from acquired businessesGathering reporting requirements directly from internal stakeholdersSupporting daily data flows from operational systems, SaaS platforms, APIs,
and sensorsContributing to ongoing improvements across Adbri's modern data environmentWhat you'll Bring:We're looking for someone with strong technical capability, analytical thinking and the confidence to work directly with stakeholders.
You'll ideally bring:Proven experience developing, optimising, and maintaining SQL queries, views, and stored proceduresExperience designing Power BI dashboards and reports using PythonExperience building, maintaining, or enhancing data pipelines using DatabricksExperience working with REST APIs and integrating data from multiple systemsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills and confidence working with large, complex datasetsAbility to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholdersConfidence engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating technical concepts clearlyDesirable:Experience with PowerBI, Azure/AWS, or data integration projectsExposure to SharePoint, Power Platform, and Power AutomateMerger & Acquisitions exposureBenefits:Join Adbri, an iconic Australian company - established in ****, with 200+ plants, 8 brands and 5 joint ventures supplying essential construction materials nationwide!
