MANAWISE Care is growing in Cairns; Queensland and we're looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis.About the RoleYou will be working across our residential homes with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.As a Care Practitioner, you'll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
You'll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.Key Responsibilities
Create a safe, supportive, and structured home workplace
Build strong, positive relationships with young people
Support emotional, social, and life skill development
Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing
Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans
Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports
Essential Requirements
Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
Current, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence (open class)
Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)




First Aid & CPR certification
Availability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends)
Current Paid Blue Card
National Police Check (within 12 months)
Ability to obtain LCS check
Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
