The OpportunityNot every Project Manager wants to spend two years buried in one large build.This role offers genuine variety, clear project ownership and close involvement with site delivery.
You will join an established North Brisbane construction and insurance repairs business with a growing workload and a broad mix of clients.You will manage projects from planning through to completion, taking responsibility for programme, commercial performance, safety, quality and the client relationship.This is not a purely office-based PM position.
You will remain close to your sites and be expected to deal with issues before they become problems.
Equally, you will not be left to carry the delivery alone, with support from a capable Leading Hand and an internal team of trades.Your RoleYou will take ownership of:Planning, programming and delivering projects from start to finishCoordinating internal trades, subcontractors, consultants and suppliersManaging project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and financial controlMonitoring programme and keeping delivery on trackDriving safety,



quality and compliance across each projectIdentifying risks and resolving issues earlyManaging client expectations and maintaining clear communicationDelivering a consistently high standard of workAbout YouYou will be a practical, commercially aware Project Manager who understands both the paperwork and what is happening on site.You will require:Project Management experience within constructionA current QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder licenceA current White CardStrong programming, cost-control and subcontractor management skillsThe ability to manage several live priorities without losing control of the detailSound judgement and a solutions-focused approachConfidence dealing with clients, consultants, trades and internal stakeholdersClear written and verbal communicationExperience across insurance repairs, refurbishment, remedial works, maintenance or commercial building projects will be highly regarded.What's on OfferGenuine ownership of projects from planning through to completionA varied workload rather than one repetitive project typeSupport from an experienced Leading Hand and internal tradesDirect access to an experienced management teamThe chance to grow with an established and expanding businessCompetitive salary package based on experience
