Position
Sales Associate — Casual
Location: Robina Town Centre, Gold Coast QLD Pay: Starting from $***** per hour
General Retail Industry Award (MA******)
Store Operating Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Opening shifts include an additional 15 minutes for operational tasks.
Closing shifts include an additional 30 minutes.
About the Role
This role is for someone with a flexible schedule to be available any time during operating hours.
This could be based on people out sick, vacation and/or support needed due to store being busy.
As a Casual Sales Associate at See's Candies, your main focus is both supporting our sales floor and online order fulfilment — picking, packing, and preparing shipments to ensure every customer receives their chocolates in perfect condition.
You will support in-store operations when needed, including during team member vacations, sick leave, or other absences.
For high-performing individuals, this casual position may become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
In-Store Customer Experience
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
Offer product recommendations and allergen information
Assist with gift selections and custom chocolate boxes
Deliver a premium See's customer experience on the shop floor
Online Order Fulfilment
Accurately pick and pack customer orders for online shipments
Prepare parcels for dispatch, ensuring product integrity and presentation standards
Process orders based on FIFO
Maintain organized packing stations and manage shipping supplies
Support order tracking and resolve basic shipping queries
Meet daily dispatch deadlines and volume targets
Sales & Operations
Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions
Maintain clean, organized displays and restock product
Support sales goals and store targets
Assist with seasonal merchandising and promotions
Store Presentation
Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and visual presentation
Rotate stock to ensure freshness
Support seasonal set-ups and promotional changes
What We're Looking For
Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail — critical for accurate order fulfilment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Retail, warehouse, or e-commerce fulfilment experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
