Cazam Kitchens & Joinery is a Melbourne-based joinery company specialising in high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry, joinery and fit-out projects.We are currently seeking an experienced and highly experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our growing team.This is a full time position with an attractive salary package offered, dependent on experience.THE ROLEAs a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial joinery projects from project handover through to completion.The role will primarily focus on high-rise apartment developments, multi-residential projects, shop fit-outs and commercial joinery projects.You will work closely with builders, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and our internal design and production teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManaging commercial joinery projects from handover through to completionOverseeing high-rise apartment and multi-residential joinery installationsManaging retail, shop fit-out and other commercial projectsDeveloping and managing project programs and installation schedulesCoordinating site supervisors, installers and subcontractorsLiaising with builders, project managers, site managers and clientsReviewing and interpreting shop drawings, construction plans and specificationsCoordinating project requirements with internal design, production and purchasing teamsManaging project budgets, costs and variationsMonitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or risksResolving site, installation and coordination issues efficientlyEnsuring projects meet required quality,



safety and compliance standardsManaging defects and overseeing project completion and handoverAttending site meetings and providing regular project updatesABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience as a Commercial Project Manager, Project Coordinator or similar roleExperience managing high-rise apartment or multi-residential projectsExperience managing commercial joinery, cabinetry or fit-out projectsStrong understanding of commercial construction and fit-out processesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction plansStrong experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlinesExperience coordinating installers, subcontractors and site teamsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience managing project budgets, variations and costsA proactive and hands-on approach to project managementA trade background in Cabinet Making, Joinery, Carpentry or Construction would be highly regarded.WHY JOIN CAZAM?
