The Role:
As a Life Care Customer Care Officer based at our Payneham Allied Health Clinic, you will play a vital role in creating positive first impressions, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting a multidisciplinary team of allied health clinicians.
This permanent part-time position (4 days per week) works closely with the Clinic Manager and fellow Customer Care Officer to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and a welcoming experience for clients, families and referrers.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people and the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a central point of contact for clients, families, referrers and visitors, providing skilled and responsive support
Manage appointments, enquiries, referrals and waitlists to facilitate timely access to services
Process client payments, invoicing and billing activities
Maintain accurate client records and administrative documentation
Support clinicians through efficient clinic administration and client coordination
Assist clients and families to access Allied Health services and navigate available funding programs, including CHSP and SAH
Contribute to a positive, collaborative and customer-focused team environment

About You:
Experience working in an Allied Health, healthcare or medical administration environment is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy clinic environment
Empathetic, adaptable and solution-focused, with a genuine commitment to supporting clients
Strong previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, aged care or community services setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Experience with appointment scheduling, client payments and billing processes is highly regarded
Knowledge of aged care programs, including SAH and CHSP, is highly regarded
Essential Qualifications and Checks:
National Police Clearance (Aged Care) – issued within the last 6 months
