This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key client relationships across mining, industrial, and infrastructure markets.You will bring strong technical knowledge of power generation solutions and a proactive, strategic sales approach to expand market share and deliver tailored solutions to customers.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales and business development strategies within the power generation sectorIdentify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities, including strategic and high-value leadsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholdersPosition NPE as the preferred supplier across target marketsProvide technical advice and customised product solutions to meet customer requirementsPrepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender submissionsCollaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, marketing) to deliver end-to-end solutionsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategyAchieve revenue and growth targets,



including development of long-term supply agreementsMaintain accurate sales, customer, and market intelligence recordsEnsure a high standard of customer service for internal and external stakeholdersSupport inventory planning, order processing, and supplier coordination where requiredParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performanceBe available outside standard hours when required to manage business-critical issuesSkills and Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in technical or industrial sales (power generation or similar preferred)Strong knowledge of diesel generators, hybrid systems, and temporary power solutionsProven experience in strategic sales or business developmentDemonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholdersExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsStrong commercial acumen with a solutions-focused mindsetHighly organised, analytical, and results drivenAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesCurrent Driver's LicenceNational Police ClearanceTertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Mining, or a related fieldPrevious experience in power generation or adjacent industriesWe believe in providing a great employee experience.
