Opportunity for a hands on Financial Controller to join a growth focused companyBroad and varied role$180k - $200k + SuperThe companyAustralian owned, PE backed services business who are going through a growth phase to enable more reach within their customer base.The roleThe opportunity is within a high-growth, PE-backed Australian business entering its next phase of expansion, with a focus on strengthening financial governance, improving systems and building scalable processes.Reporting to the CFO, the role leads a lean finance team (x4 DR's) and requires a hands on Financial Controller comfortable operating across reporting, audit, compliance, financial operations and process improvement.Lead the month end and year end close processesProduce accurate and timely financial statements and management reportingMaintain solid financial controls, reconciliations and supporting documentationManage the annual external audit and act as the key contact for external auditorsEnsure statutory, tax and regulatory obligations are metMaintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policiesOversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll,



cash management and bank reconciliationsLead, develop and coach a finance team of approximately sixEstablish efficient, scalable and well-documented finance processesImprove month-end timelines and minimise audit adjustmentsEnhance automation and reduce reliance on manual processesImprove finance systems, controls and data qualityIdentify and resolve operational bottlenecks across the finance functionSupport general ledger, reporting system and broader technology upgradesPartner closely with the CFO, CEO and senior leadership teamSupport outsourced and offshore finance arrangements where appropriateContribute to broader business improvement initiativesBuild the financial infrastructure required to support continued growth period of transformation and increased workloadTo be considered for this role you will need:Experience managing an audit end to end in a sub $100m t/o companyHave confidence improving and streamlining processBe hands on in your approach
