As Head of Internal Audit, you'll lead the enterprise-wide assurance function and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board Audit Committee to shape how Internal Audit adds value across the organisation.
With genuine independence and enterprise-wide influence, you'll bring a clear perspective to the risks, decisions and priorities shaping one of Australia's most recognised entertainment businesses.Your RoleAs Head of Internal Audit, you'll set the direction for the function and ensure the Board and Executive Leadership Team have clear, independent insight into the effectiveness of Tabcorp's risk management, governance and control environment.
Specifically, you will:Lead and evolve Tabcorp's enterprise-wide Internal Audit functionDevelop and deliver a risk-based annual audit plan for Board approvalProvide commercially relevant assurance insights to the Board and senior leadersIdentify emerging risks and ensure audit activity remains aligned to business prioritiesBuild trusted relationships across Tabcorp while maintaining independenceLead, coach and develop the Internal Audit team and specialist partnersWhat You'll BringYou'll be an experienced Internal Audit or assurance leader with the judgement and presence to operate effectively at Board and Executive level.
You'll know when to challenge,



when to influence and how to turn complex assurance findings into clear insights that support better decisions.You also bring:Strong experience leading Internal Audit or assurance functions within a complex organisation (ideally but not essential)Strong people leadership and capability-building experienceConfidence engaging with Boards, Committees and Executive Leadership Teams (ideally but not essential)Strong knowledge of risk management, governance and control frameworksA constructive, pragmatic approach to stakeholder challenge and influenceAbility to see beyond individual audit findings to broader enterprise implicationsA relevant professional qualification such as CA, CIA or CISAWhat's In It For YouThis is a role with significant scope to shape the function and strengthen your profile as an enterprise leader.
