This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of a home assessing team across South Sydney and surrounding regions. You’ll play a key role in supporting your people, driving performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

Who will you be working with? /n

You’ll be joining an established home assessing operation with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes for customers and building a high-performing team. The business values capable leaders who can bring people together, create accountability and help their teams succeed.

This is a newly available leadership opportunity where you’ll have genuine influence over team performance, service delivery and day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and assessors across the region, with regular travel providing plenty of face‑to‑face engagement.

What will you be doing? /n

/n

- Lead, coach and support a team of home assessors

/n

- Monitor team performance, workloads and service delivery

/n

- Provide guidance, feedback and ongoing development to team members

/n

- Drive consistency, quality and efficiency across the assessing function

/n

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

/n

- Travel monthly to Wollongong and Canberra to support regional teams and operations

/n

What do you need? /n

/n

- Proven leadership or team management experience within insurance, construction or a related environment

/n

- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others

/n

- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

/n

- A strong understanding of residential building, insurance claims or home assessing is highly desirable

/n

- Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment

/n

- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between South Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra

/n
