Salary: $80,000 - $82,000 per annum + superannuation

ZEN ZEN SUSHI PTY LTD is a Japanese restaurant specialising in sushi and a variety of Japanese dishes. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, rice dishes, noodles and hot food.

Prepare seafood, meat, vegetables and other ingredients for daily service.

Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain consistent food quality.

Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation.

Maintain appropriate food storage and stock rotation.

Follow food safety,



hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and work area.

Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook or in a similar commercial kitchen role.

Experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation is highly regarded.

Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Good teamwork and communication skills.
