As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a holistic education, including:

- Creating a nurturing, learner-centred, safe, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum requirements, policies, and best practice;

/n

- Effective planning, implementation and reviewing of learning programs;

/n

- Maintaining professional standards as defined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers;

/n

- Managing student behaviour effectively within the classroom and wider school community; and

/n

- Provide care that is physically, emotionally, psychologically and culturally protected and take all reasonable steps to protect children from exposure to harm;

- Adhering to and upholding the School’s Code of Conduct, as outlined in the Code of Conduct for Anglican Schools and Education & Care Services.

Skills and Experiences: ABOUT YOU: /n

You will have relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:

/n

/n

- Qualified Teacher, registered with, or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers,

/n

- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice, and engagement.

/n

- Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.

/n

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and organisational skills.

/n

- Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate qualified boundaries and standards when working with children and young people.

/n

- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, parents, and carers to achieve the best outcomes for students.

/n

- Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.

/n
