We are seeking an experienced WWTP & Water Reuse Project Engineer to support a major manufacturing transformation and sustainability program within a leading FMCG production facility. The successful candidate will lead wastewater treatment, water reuse, and environmental improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities /n
/n
- Lead wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
/n
- Manage water reuse, recycling, and irrigation projects to reduce overall water consumption.
/n
- Support WWTP upgrade and expansion projects from design through commissioning.
/n
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, discharge requirements, and sustainability objectives.
/n
- Identify opportunities for water, energy, and resource efficiency improvements across manufacturing operations.
/n
- Coordinate engineering contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, and site stakeholders.
/n
- Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting activities.
/n
- Provide technical expertise during installation, commissioning, startup, and performance ramp-up phases.
/n
- Develop and implement long-term water reduction and sustainability roadmaps.
/n
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and environmental teams to ensure successful project delivery.
/n
Required Qualifications & Experience /n
/n
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Engineering,
Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
/n
- Proven experience in wastewater treatment, water reuse, utilities, or environmental engineering projects within manufacturing environments.
/n
- Strong knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes and effluent management systems.
/n
- Familiarity with environmental compliance requirements and sustainability initiatives.
/n
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
/n
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
/n
- Ability to work hands-on within an operational manufacturing setting.
/n
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
/n
