City of Newcastle is seeking enthusiastic school-aged Surf Lifesavers for a Lifeguard Summer traineeship within our Aquatic Services Team, a casual 24-hour per week role across Newcastle's beaches and baths. You will monitor, patrol and support the wellbeing and safety of beachgoers, while gaining valuable experience alongside skilled lifeguards.
Successful applicants will work three weekdays of up to 24 hours per week during the summer holidays and must meet essential safety and fitness
